Calling all Aviation enthusiasts.  Please join us on July 15th at 4:30 at Coast Guard Air Station Clearwater to complete the Aviation Merit Badge and get a tour of their Coast Guard aircraft. The event will last approximately 3 hours from 4:30 until 7:30 pm. Signups are on the Troop website. The address for the event is 15100 Rescue Way, Clearwater, FL 33762. We will meet at the Coast Guard’s Redtail Auditorium (gate guard can guide you to the location) at 4:30 to learn how aircraft fly, then complete a tour of the HC-130, HC-27, and MH-60 aircraft.  We will finish our merit badge requirements with a competition to make the FPG-9 Glider.  All supplies will be provided.  Boys should arrive fed and with water, as we will not have food to provide.  Pickup time is planned for 7:30 pm.  A hard deadline for signups is 08 July, as name must be provided to the Air Station in advance.
